Slick Stabilizer Review

Gimbals are great for slow speed sports, such as, biking, skateboarding, skiing, etc. However, they cannot handle fast speeds of roller coasters and other thrill rides.

Pros: Makes your video footage much smoother than the built in stabilizer.

Cons: Unable to adjust quickly at fast speeds over 35mph and is unable to find the horizon when going upside down.

There is a way to adjust the settings for SLICK to make it more sensitive, however, I have yet to change the hardware settings.

You will notice that SLICK struggles to find the horizon during a high speed turn and recover from a high speed drop.

Overall gimbal technology is not able to handle roller coasters and other high speed thrills at this time. Hopefully we will see this change in the future, but there are no plans as of now.
